queen of snakes
This is the third poetry book written by Lokke Erzebet Valverde.
Queen of Snakes is a name given to me on the banks of the Snake River that separates Idaho from Oregon. It was tattooed on me in the middle of the National Forest, symbolizing my curls as snakes. When I ritually shaved off the snakes prior to the Solve et Coagula, it grew back as flames.
